Deep Draw Presses
Also named Fluidforming presses, the Avure QFB series are the most versatile in terms of forming capabilities. Not only can they form the same kind of parts as fluid cell presses, but also very complex, high profile parts which require a deep draw function.
QFB presses feature a circular vertical pressure vessel which contains the flexible rubber diaphragm. Parts are drawn over a movable punch and blank holder. The electro-hydraulic system carefully controls the forming pressure as a function of the punch stroke.
Flexform deep draw presses are manufactured with usable tool area diameters up to 1.2 meters (47.2 inches) and operate at pressures up to 2,000 bar (29,000 psi). Models can be custom configured to meet your needs.
